And second, it's got the new (and incredibly speedy) Apple Octa-core M1 processor, 8GB of memory, 512GB of on-board storage and the latest version of macOS Big Sur. That makes it an absolute powerhouse.

The Apple iPad Air (Wi-Fi only), on sale for $520 — a cool $79 off — is the 'just right' model in the iPad family. It's speedier and more powerful than the entry-level model, thanks to its A14 Bionic chip (compared to the standard's A12 chip), and it's more compact and lightweight than the iPad Pro — coming in at just a pound, versus the Pro's heftier 1.41 pounds. It might not seem like a lot, but when you're holding it for a long period of time, you'll feel the difference.
