CDL redefines riverfront living with its thoughtful and smart design, modern facilities, convenient amenities and luxurious comfort, coupled with the development’s prime position in the heart of the city.

In a vibrant and bustling area like Robertson Quay, a residential development like UP@Robertson Quay is truly a rare find. Strategically located along the Singapore River, this 70-unit development is a verdant haven of calm, surrounded by lush gardens, sweeping lawns, pools and tranquil water features, offering residents with the ideal setting to retreat from the hustle and bustle of city living.

Developed by City Developments Limited (CDL), one of Singapore’s most established property companies, some unique qualities that set UP@Robertson Quay apart from other projects within the vicinity include the fact that all the units feature smart layouts, thanks to the developer’s attention to detail.

It’s all in the details

The developer has gone the extra mile to design and outfit some of the units to make them a smart and space-saving space. For example, smart storage under the stairs in selected units provides a clean and seamless look with plenty of space for daily living, while a moveable glass partition offers the option of creating a second bedroom with a foldaway bed. Design conscious homeowners will also be pleased to know that it is not all about functionality though, as these smart furniture and fittings not only save space, but it also creates a clean and minimalist look.

For those who like loft-like homes, there are a handful of units featuring up to 7.2m floor-to-floor heights and dual-purpose furniture options. Besides the palpable sense of space, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors incorporated here not only lend an air of modernity to the home, but it also allows an abundance of natural light in.

Standard unit types include the one-bedroom + study and two-bedroom apartments which range from 527 to 753 sq ft in size – perfect for singles and even young couples starting out.

Relax and retreat

Residents can expect to be spoilt for choice when it comes to leisure and relaxation pursuits. Equipped with an array of modern facilities, fitness enthusiasts can choose to take a refreshing dip in either the 30m lap pool or sweat it out at the aqua gym and gymnasium.

Those who prefer to just sit back and relax can do so at the trees canopy lounge and Jacuzzi, among others. A specially designed gourmet pavilion is also available for residents to host intimate parties or simply enjoy a spontaneous evening dinner outdoors.

A host of amenities and conveniences

Another notable feature of living at UP@Robertson Quay, which is conveniently located right next to designer hotel M Social Singapore, is that residents will stand to benefit from a suite of affordably priced fee-based hotel services such as housekeeping, laundry and more.

Meanwhile, a slew of amenities are sited within close proximity to the development, including schools and shopping hubs. Nearby malls include Great World City, Robertson Walk, the Central, and UE Shopping Mall. For those seeking even more entertainment options, the development is just a short drive away from Orchard Road and Clarke Quay.

Travelling to other parts of the island will also be a breeze, thanks to the various transportation links within easy walking distance, including Clarke Quay MRT station, as well as the upcoming Fort Canning, Havelock and Great World MRT stations.

For residents working in the central business district, they can make full use of the nearby River Taxi service to get to work, as it makes stops at Robertson Quay, Clemenceau, Clarke Quay and Esplanade.

Great investment potential

With luxury property prices at one of its lowest in recent years, Core Central Region (CCR) homes seem even more appealing to property buyers now. After all, experts share that luxury properties will make good investments in the long term, as these properties are usually surrounded by plenty of amenities, reputable schools, iconic landmarks, and offer high accessibility.

According to the Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore (REDAS), prices of luxury properties have declined by about 20 percent from their peak in 2013. But that is set to change, as for the first time in over two years, luxury home prices in Singapore managed to eke out a 0.4 percent gain in the first three months of 2016.

For those planning to purchase a value-for-money luxury home in the CCR, whether for investment or residential living, a unit at UP@Robertson Quay will make a great choice. In fact, for those planning to buy for own stay, it is already ready for immediate occupation, while for investors, the developers are offering a four percent rental guarantee.

Furthermore, when the market picks up, experts expect property prices in the CCR to see huge upswing.

To date, 87 percent of the units at UP@Robertson Quay have been sold, and only the one + study and two-bedroom units are left. Prices start at $1,545,000 for one-bedders, and $2,345,000 for two-bedders.
