Historically, the month of April is the time to start embracing spring weather, gathering with family and friends for the first picnics and barbecues of the season, and enjoying everything that the season has to offer.

Things are a little different this year as many of us are isolating and staying safe indoors, but the cycle still continues when it comes to retail. While making purchases may not be top of mind right now, there are certain categories that go on sale every April that you may want to take advantage of.

This year, Easter falls on April 12, so you’ll have plenty of time to shop and save on decorations and candy. As always, the best deals will be found in the days after the holiday is over, but you may have to do a little extra digging.

The month of April marks National Car Care Month, and is a great reminder to make sure that your maintenance is up to date. To celebrate, many retailers will be offering deals on car care services as well as accessories and supplies all month long.
