Historically, the month of April is the time to start embracing spring weather, gathering with family and friends for the first picnics and barbecues of the season, and enjoying everything that the season has to offer.
Things are a little different this year as many of us are isolating and staying safe indoors, but the cycle still continues when it comes to retail. While making purchases may not be top of mind right now, there are certain categories that go on sale every April that you may want to take advantage of.
Read on to find out some of the best deals to be found this month, as well as the items that you’ll want to hold off on purchasing.

Gardening Tools
The growing season kicks off this month for many, but if you’re in need of replacement tools or equipment you’ll want to wait to buy. May is when you’ll find better deals and discounts to update your outdoor space.
Outdoor Grills
If you’re in the market for a new barbecue or grill, shopping experts suggest waiting until the fall to find the best deals. By September many retailers begin marking down their inventory, meaning you can save hundreds of dollars, especially if you shop for a floor model.

Planning your next beach trip already? If you are, you’ll want to wait until summer sales kick off in July in order to find the best prices on items like swimwear, cover ups and sandals for the whole family.
