Poland striker Robert Lewandowski can only get better with the co-hosts set to begin their Euro 2012 campaign in Friday's opening match, according to Germany star Miroslav Klose. Lewandowski, 23, has been in fine form this season with 22 goals for Borussia Dortmund in 34 league games as his team won the German league title for the second consecutive season, also picking up the German Cup title. With 30 goals in all competitions, Lewandowski comes into the European Championship in great form with Franciszek Smuda's Poland team looking to beat Euro 2004 title winners Greece in their opening Group A game. Poland-born Klose, who turns 34 on Saturday when Germany take on Portugal in Group B in Lviv, Ukraine, is backing Lewandowski to transfer his Dortmund form onto the Euro stage when Poland and Greece kick-off the tournament in Warsaw. "I have followed Lewandowski's progress, he is a super player and in his two years with Borussia Dortmund he has developed well," said Klose, who has scored 63 goals for Germany in 116 appearances. "He can still add another dimension to his play. "I know how hard it is to score 22 goals in the Bundesliga, so I have tremendous respect for him."
