Royal watchers first learned that King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema's second child was born in mid-March. Now, fans have been treated to photos of the little Prince, and promised that his name will soon be revealed.

The images were released to celebrate Jetsun Pema's 30th birthday, and show the whole family of four enjoying some time together. Bhutan's Royal Office for Media released one photo as a June 2020 calendar (which can be downloaded here), and a larger set from the same shoot was posted in a slideshow on the Queen's Instagram account.

"To commemorate the 30th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen on the 4th of June, it is our privilege to share a wonderful collection of photographs of the Royal Family," the comment on the Instagram post read. "These Kupars were taken at the Lingkana Palace grounds on the 29th of May. His Royal Highness’ name will be announced in the coming days. With deepest gratitude and love on this special occasion, we offer our prayers for the lasting happiness and health of our Beloved Queen, Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen."

Fans can see the King and Queen with their elder child and the King's heir apparent, Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck, as well as their new baby. The Prince seems to have embraced the new member of the family, and can be seen reaching to hug his little brother. Back in March, when the birth was first announced, the royals noted in a statement that "His Royal Highness The Gyalsey was delighted to meet his younger brother" (Gyalsey translates to Crown Prince).
