Why we rate them

With many of us not turning the heating on at all or very often this winter, keeping your feet warm is more crucial than ever.

And these slippers are more than suitable for seriously nippy temperatures due to the soft, warm, faux fur lining.

Made from microsuede, they’re low cut around the ankle, so you could also wear them with thick socks any time you need extra warmth.

And the slip-on style has a flat but sturdy non-slip sole (meaning they’re suitable for nipping out to the shops in) with seam detailing.

They're available in pink, chestnut and beige and come in sizes small, medium, and large, which are designed to sit size 3 to 8 shoe sizes.

As an added bonus they’re also machine washable, so easy to keep fresh, clean and long lasting.

What the reviews say

People are impressed by how expensive these £19.20 slippers look. Not to mention the fact that they love how toasty and comfortable their feet feel when wearing them with one saying that her Mum reckons they’re the comfiest slippers she’s ever owned.

  • “Absolutely love these cosy slippers. They fit snug (I am a size 6) so you may want to size up. I have spent many winters wearing socks to watch TV but now my feet are warm tucked into these slippers. The best bit is they look more expensive than the actual price and are very elegant.”

  • “Perfect fit and so comfortable you don't want to take them off. Well made and durable for frequent use. Very reasonable price.”

  • “My mum is on her second pair of these and says they are the most comfortable slippers she's ever owned; they fit her perfectly, have a sturdy sole and are not too expensive either!”

  • “At last, a pair of slippers that are comfortable and also fairly robust. I've been searching for several weeks, and failed to find the right pair, that gave support but did not slip off the back of my heel.”

  • “This was the best choice ever: not only are they really comfortable and warm, but also the rubber sole helps keeping the warmth in, it's better to clean if needed, and it makes the slippers more long lasting. Well done John Lewis for having created such good product! especially when going up and downstairs. These ones are comfortable. look good and fit really well - success!”
