Blast at shrine in Pakistan's Shikarpur leaves three dead

Shikarpur (Dawn/ANN) - A blast at a shrine in interior Sindh in Pakistan, has left three people dead and several others injured, DawnNews reported.

The explosion took place at the Dargah Hajan Shah Mauri shrine in Shikarpur when a large number of devotees were present.

Reports suggest that a man riding a motorcycle threw a grenade and fled from the scene, while eyewitnesses said that an unknown individual left a bag at the site, after which there was an explosion.

The dead and injured have been shifted to a local hospital. Many of the injuries are reported to be serious.
