2NE1 to release much-awaited mini album

2NE1, one of the K-Pop world's top stars, revealed comeback plans by the end of July with the release of their much-awaited mini album. YG Entertainment, the management company of 2NE1, updated their blog today with news related to 2NE1's upcoming mini album. I am sure the Blackjacks are excited for the girls' comeback.

According to YG Life (Hyperlink: http://www.yg-life.com/), 2NE1's upcoming mini album will feature six songs including four previously released singles and two new tracks. The track listing is as follows:

1. I Am The Best
2. Ugly
3. Lonely
4. Hate You
5. Don't Cry
6. Don't Stop the Music (Bonus Track)

The mini album will be out in Korea on July 28. For this release, 2NE1 will be promoting the single "Hate You" which actually comes with an interesting back story.

YG expressed that the song originally had a sexually provocative title and since Minzy, one of the 2NE1 members, was underaged, they decided to delete the song from the track list of 2NE1's album release last year.

Still, given 2NE1's excitement due to the song's quality, YG re-titled the song and added it to the upcoming mini album. The music video for the song "Hate You", which features animated works by popular artist Mari Kim (Hyperlink: http://blog.naver.com/mozart_mk), will be released on July 21. Imagine, 2NE1 members as fierce cartoon characters! Blackjacks who can't wait for the full video may await the teaser to be released on July 18.
