Chelsea’s star players came out to celebrate their 1-0 win over Man United over the weekend at a charity ball.

The event was arranged by star striker Didier Drogba, 37, and held at the fancy Dorchester hotel in London.

The players arrived suited and booted and ready to party at the Ivorian’s bash on Saturday night.

The charity event raised funds for the Didier Drogba Foundation.

Eden Hazard, Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Chelsea captain John Terry were all in attendance to support their teammate and help raise money to give young Africans access to better healthcare and education.

American singer Christian Milian also provided entertainment for the night, getting both Drogba and Hazard, 24, to groove on the dance floor while belting out her hit songs.

Hazard, who topped off his outfit with a hat, arrived at the hotel with a smile on his face after scoring the only goal which secured Chelsea all three points at Stamford Bridge.

Cech, Ivanovic and Terry arrived with their wives, who looked equally thrilled to join the party.

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry also made an appearance at the bash alongside former Tottenham Hotspur duo Edgar Davids and Jermain Defoe and ex-Manchester United ace Louis Saha.

Chelsea now sit 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table with north London outfit Arsenal in second place.

Terry led the celebrations on the field at full-time, with his team knowing that they are inching closer in the hunt for a first title in five years.

Victories in their next two games against Arsenal at the Emirates and against Leicester City would wrap up the Barclays Premier League crown with room to spare.

CITY AND UNITED STARS DINE OUT WITH WAGS

On the other side of the pond, Man United and Man City players put their rivalries aside for an evening out in the city centre.

Argentinean stars Angel di Maria and Pablo Zabaleta enjoyed dinner with their families at an Italian restaurant in Manchester.

Marcos Rojo, Martin Demichelis and United’s Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes made up the rest of the group at the San Carlo restaurant.

Rojo was ruled out of United’s weekend clash against Chelsea with a stomach injury, but seemed to be in fine spirits on Sunday night, laughing and joking with his supposed rivals.

The United players had just returned from a disappointing 1-0 defeat by Premier League leaders Chelsea on Saturday, while the City men were still on a high following a comfortable victory over West Ham.

Despite defeat, the United players looked delighted as they joined forces and enjoyed a meal with their partners.

Di Maria, 27 was joined by wife Jorgelina Cardoso, Valdes with Yolanda Cardona, and Rojo was seen putting up a united front with his partner Eugenia Lusardo, after allegations of blackmail and cheating rocked his personal life two weeks ago.

United’s £60million ($120 million) record signing Di Maria had to settle for yet another cameo appearance on Saturday after entering as a substitute for Ashley Young after 70 minutes.

The midfielder was unable to help his side find a goal, despite United dominating Chelsea for large parts of the Stamford Bridge clash.
