Watch as iPad Head Girl confuses onlookers with unorthodox advertisement

Apple's best-selling iPad needs no help finding fans, but with its plethora of digital magazine options, a new editorial offering can sometimes be a hard sell. So when marketing firm Thinkmodo was tasked with generating buzz for the new Cosmo for Guys iPad magazine, it did what any responsible advertising group would do: Force an attractive young lady to walk around a New York City park wearing a quartet of tablets on her head.

As you can see by the video above, each of "iPad Head Girl's" 4 screens shows a different angle of the model's head. Unfortunately, the iPad's 10" screen can't quite contain a normal-sized human dome, leaving iPad Head Girl with a distinct case of shrunken head syndrome. The odd spectacle definitely seems to draw a crowd, with most observers sporting distinct looks of utter confusion.

Predictably, video of iPad Head Girl has become a widespread internet hit, and while that might be good news for the Cosmo folks, it remains to be seen whether it can be translated into downloads. Still, Thinkmodo's tagline is "Creative Engaging Viral," and this unorthodox marketing stunt certainly lives up to it.
