Bills bat for rights of deaf persons

The rights of persons with disabilities are guaranteed under local and international laws. But the government has yet to recognize the specific needs of different types of disabilities.

For the deaf community, there is a lack of action from the government in providing for their need and right to information, communication and education, among others. Bills pending in Congress hope to address this. Watch this video and find out. (Video captions may be turned on.)
