The Delhi government Monday banned "all activities" by Uber taxi company after one of its drivers was arrested on charges of raping a woman.
An official statement said the Delhi government's transport department had also blacklisted the company from providing any transport service in the national capital in future.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) said Monday it would honour hundreds of business-class tickets sold wrongly at economy fares to ensure travellers' plans are not disrupted.
The airline said in a statement it was investigating the cause of the erroneous sales which saw "business-class booking able to be made at an outdated economy-class fare level".

Temasek buys stake in U.S. electronic trading firm Virtu
Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings has agreed to buy a minority stake in Virtu Financial Inc, the New York-based electronic dealing firm said on Monday, in a bet on the growth of automated trading globally.
Temasek is buying a portion of U.S. private equity giant Silver Lake Partners' stake in the company, Virtu said in a statement.
