One of the Australian aircrafts involved in the search for the missing flight MH370 spotted two objects in the Indian Ocean, one circular and one rectangular.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott informed Malaysia PM Najib Razak of the update on Monday afternoon "minutes" before the daily press conference in Kuala Lumpur, said Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.

It has also yet to be ascertained if they are linked to the missing flight, but the HMAS Success is on its way to pick them up within the next few hours.

CPI-All Items inflation fell to 0.4 per cent in Feburary, down from 1.4 per cent in January, a decline that was anticipated in January and also reflective of a higher base in February last year.

Private road transport costs took the lead in falling by 7.1 per cent in February on the back of a surge in COE premiums in January 2013, and dip in petrol pump prices. Food, service and accommodation prices all increased by at least 2 per cent, however.
