Netizens are finding creative ways to express their dislike for the "Fun Pack Song" that surfaced earlier this week and which was supposed to be performed for Singapore's National Day Parade in August.

The original video, shot by a person attending a rehearsal for the parade, features a song about this year's NDP goodie bag and is sung to the tune of Lady Gaga's hit "Bad Romance".

Some called the adaptation a "disgrace" and "unoriginal", and many on online forums pleaded with the organisers to take the song out of this year's NDP.

Facebook groups were also created for those who disliked the song to band together and petition for the removal of the song from the NDP performance line-up.

Following the reactions to the song, organisers of the parade announced on Friday that the song has been officially pulled out of this year's NDP.

Nevertheless, some individuals had already uploaded video spoofs and parodies about the "Fun Pack Song".

Watch their renditions below:

YouTube user foxie77 uploaded an off-pitched version of the NDP fun pack song sung to the tune of Justin Bieber's hit song "Baby".

Another YouTube user, isazaly, used subtitles overlain in a clip of a German dramatisation of Hitler speaking to his troops to poke fun at the preparations for the parade.

User nusantaraworldmusic put up a video of a man singing an acoustic version of the controversial song in a style all his own.

Even radio deejays Shan and Rozz created their own rendition of the ditty.
