Plastic surgeon offers ‘Insta-breast’ express boob job service

Been considering breast implants but not sure about it? Perhaps you want to trial out how you'd look with larger breasts for just a day?

American plastic surgeon Dr Norman Rowe has developed a less invasive procedure that takes about half an hour and only lasts 24 hours - using salt water.

He calls the express boob job “Insta-breast”.

Dr Rowe injects sterile saline solution in to the breast from a point near the nipple until it reaches the right size. Speaking on Australia’s Sunrise programme, Dr Rowe said, “To put it in perspective, it's equivalent to a large bottle of water."

The saline is just absorbed over the 24 hour period and is eventually urinated out of the body.

"There is a small risk for getting infection but I haven't seen that yet. I don't see too much of a downside... I find that most of the patients are very pleased and they get a feel of what implants would look and feel like," Dr Rowe said.
