Singaporean’s video featured on Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” World Gallery

Remember Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” photography campaign earlier this year?

Some of the photos from that campaign were selected to be on Apple’s World Gallery and have been blown up. You can even see some of the images on the high walls at the North East Line (NEL) platform of Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

This time, Apple has launched a video version of the campaign and has curated some short videos, among them is one by Singaporean Jin Chong.

The featured 26-year-old video maker shot the video when he came across a scenic view in Nyaung Shwe, Myanmar.

According to Stuff Singapore, Chong is an engineer who dabbles in casual photography on his free time.

“The great thing about carrying the iPhone as my primary shooting device when I’m travelling is it’s simple yet so powerful. It’s always ready to capture any moment I encounter with the quick camera access,” Jin shared.
