In Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s recent National Day message, PM Lee mentioned that the government will pursue a four-year campaign to reduce the country’s reliance on foreign workers. This could mean that Singapore will add about 100,000 jobs annually in the coming years, as opposed from 234,900 in 2007.
