City Harvest Church co-founder Ho Yeow Sun's official website was found to be hacked in the wee hours of Monday morning. A spokesperson for the church told Yahoo Singapore on Monday afternoon that the matter "has been brought to the attention of the police".

Television producer Mandy Tay, 33, had a two-week adventure in Iran two months ago, where she shot a video showcasing a side of Iran most people are not familiar with. The video attracted at least 20,000 views on video-sharing platforms YouTube and Vimeo.

In the US, Melodi Dushane, went mental at a McDonald’s drive-through after staff refused to serve her Chicken McNuggets, despite explaining to her that the branch does not serve it at 10:30am. The 1-minute footage of the incident has reached close to 7 million views and counting.

The housing board's latest restrictions on newly-minted permanent residents (PRs) have abruptly halted around 150 property deals. The new measures announced last week came into immediate effect and surprised new PRs who are now required to wait three years before they can buy a resale flat. The move, according to National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan, is in line with the government's efforts to "restore balance" in the HDB market.

A video posted by a Sengkang resident — it shows the tiles in her living room popping and cracking — has received close to 20,000 views since she put it up on local citizen reporting site Stomp.The resident, known as Sally, said that she recorded the footage on 12 August. She shared that when she was recording it, she was “great shock” and even “trembled” after seeing the floor crack.
