Relatives of Chinese passengers onboard the still-missing MH370 plane took to the streets of Beijing in protest a day after Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak declared their loved ones lost, despite not having physical evidence of debris found yet.

On day 18 into the search for the missing jet, the families in Beijing marched to the Malaysian embassy, where they threw plastic water bottles, tried to rush through the gates and chanted, "Liars!"

The Chinese government also demanded to see the satellite data that investigators based their conclusion upon.

Indonesia has banned the Hollywood biblical epic "Noah", the latest in a string of Muslim countries to do so over concerns of contradictions to Islamic values.

The depiction of prophets is forbidden under Islamic law, explained local censors, and the biblical figure Noah is seen as a prophet for the Muslims. "The film will hurt both Christian and Muslim communities," said a member of the Indonesian Censorship Board.

Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp argued fiercely in the turbulent weeks before he allegedly killed her, and his then-girlfriend told him she was sometimes scared by his behaviour, which included jealous outbursts in front of other people.

This was revealed in phone messages that were shown at Pistorius' murder trial on Monday, one of which read, "I can't be attacked by outsiders for dating u AND be attacked by you, the one person I deserve protection from."

Ukrainian soldiers pulled out of Russian-held Crimea on Tuesday, leaving behind former comrades who saluted them from outside a base overrun by Russian forces.

Ukraine's defence minister, accused of crippling indecision, offered his resignation as well but was refused -- amid the country's new government's struggle to exert authority since last month's overthrow of Russian-supported president Viktor Yanukovych.

A 23-year-old NTU Art, Design and Media student has created a deck of cards with information and illustrations of Singapore's famous politicians, including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and opposition Member of Parliament and Workers' Party leader Low Thia Khiang.

Named Politics of Singapore, the specially-designed cards were developed with the aim of instilling greater knowledge among youths about the country's main political participants, both past and present.
