A guide to promote support for the retention of a law which criminalises sex between men is not against “people who practise alternative sex”, said the chairman of the network of Christian churches backing the move.
Lawrence Khong, who is the senior pastor of Faith Community Baptist Church (FCBC) and chairman of LoveSingapore Network, said that the guide was created to help the church give feedback in a civil manner.

The Media Development Authority (MDA) has asked the owners of a local cannabis awareness website to remove its contents in their entirety by Wednesday.
According to a Facebook page linked to the website, the group’s mission is to “raise awareness of the productive uses of cannabis” and other soft drugs in Singapore, where possession or consumption of cannabis is illegal.

Singapore bans disputed Indonesian navy ship
Singapore said Tuesday it will ban from its ports and naval bases an Indonesian navy ship named after two marines who bombed an office complex in the city-state during a period of tense relations in the 1960s.
Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said the ship will be barred in an ongoing dispute over the Indonesian navy's decision to name a refurbished frigate after the two marines, Usman Haji Mohamed Ali and Harun Said, who were convicted and executed in Singapore for the bombing of the downtown MacDonald House in March 1965.

A mother who professes to be a “faithful Christian” has taken to the social media to criticise local telco SingTel for endorsing a “kiss-a-thon” contest which saw two women "kissing" in public.
According to a post on The Real Singapore (TRS) by a reader called Esther, the contest organised by SingTel and HOT FM 91.3 took place at The Cathay over the weekend of 8 and 9 February.
