Video: Huge fire damages vehicles in Whampoa car park

A series of explosions and a huge fire occurred at an open car park in Whampoa on Tuesday evening, shocking onlookers.

Two separate videos of the incident were taken by the editor-in-chief of local news site Singapore Business Review and uploaded onto YouTube. The two short clips showed the fire damaging some of the parked vehicles and onlookers reacting in shock.

According to SBR editor Tim Charlton, Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel arrived at the scene and put out the fire in 20 minutes.
