KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional (BN) has launched the e-rakyat bulletin at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here today.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who graced the event, said the e-rakyat bulletin will serve to convey information, latest news and programmes by the government to the people nationwide.

He said Malaysians can access the bulletin through the Internet, social media platforms or even download the application on their mobile phones.

“The government is striving to reach out to the people in many ways and one of our initiatives is the launching of the e-rakyat bulletin today.

“The bulletin is a portal that provides fast and accurate information and programmes by the government for the people.

“We want them to know that the government is always ready to listen and help the people,” Najib said at the launching ceremony.

He also said the eight-page bulletin will be available in multiple languages.

Also present at the ceremony were the e-rakyat director Shamsulbahrin Ludin and Barisan Nasional leaders.
