Body of 26-year-old man pulled out of Jurong Lake

The body of a 26-year-old man was found in the waters of Jurong Lake on Wednesday (June 7) morning.

The police said they were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 7.39am and that the man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) retrieved the body at around 8.10am. A total of two fire engines, two fire bikes and one support vehicle were dispatched by the SCDF.

Yahoo Singapore understands that the man is Chinese.

Police investigations are ongoing.
