Sacha Baron Cohen’s beloved comedy Borat has finally been given a sequel, 14 years after the release of the original.

Entitled Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, the film is forgoing a traditional theatrical release and heading straight to streaming.

When is Borat 2 released?

The film is set to hit screens on Friday, 23 October 2020.

How can I watch Borat 2 online?

It will be available to stream for free on Amazon Prime Video, for Amazon Prime subscribers.

For those unfamiliar with the original film, or who want a refresher before Borat returns to screens, the original 2006 film is also available to stream on Amazon.

Borat 2 sees Baron Cohen return to screens as the buffoonish Kazakhstani character he first played on Da Ali G Show.

Filmed mostly in 2020, Borat 2 sees Borat return to a Trump-led America for another comic odyssey, featuring in-character interactions with public figures and members of the public.

Reviews have been widely positive for the film, with many praising its contemporary relevance and satirical edge.
