Brad Pitt was asked about the hype surrounding the Jennifer Aniston reunion
The 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards should officially become known as The One When Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt Reunited (SAGs 2020 what?). Apparently forgetting the whole Brad/Angelina/Jen business, people went wild over pictures of the former couple bumping into each other backstage at the annual show in Los Angeles on Sunday. The moment even caught the attention of Jen's BFF Courteney Cox, who ended up liking pictures of the pair's reunion and a tweet about them still 'loving each other'.
But while we're all out here still buzzing over the affectionate backstage moments, what do Brad and Jen make of it all? Well, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor literally doesn't have a clue about the impact that hug has had.
"I don’t know. I’m blissfully naive and I’m gonna stay that way," he told Entertainment Tonight at a film event on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Jen was asked about all the reunion hype before the actual reunion took place. "It's hysterical," she told Entertainment Tonight. "But what else are they going to talk about?" If she thought it was hysterical then, can you imagine how funny she must find it now? LOL.
ICYMI, the pair, who split in 2005, were pictured backstage at the ceremony congratulating each other with a very affectionate looking embrace before Jen left to carry on her night, leaving Brad quite literally clutching her hand as she walked away.
Moments before, the Ad Astra actor was also spotted stopping in his tracks to watch Jen's acceptance speech on a TV in the winner's room and he didn't take his eyes off the screen for the entire thing.
Here's hoping the Oscars directors are just as crafty with their cameras.
