Chic wristwear stars against a backdrop of Parisian landmarks in Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign.
In a short film directed by Damien Chazelle, Bradley Cooper shows off the brand’s new Tambour watch as he finds his way to his beloved in the City of Light. The 40 mm timepiece crafted from steel was unveiled in July, 21 years after the debut of the original Tambour’s design.

The watch showcases a sleek gray dial with small-seconds subdial and white-gold luminescent hour markers and hands. Cooper pairs it with classic menswear staples such as a crisp white t-shirt and chinos, under a stylish fall-ready overcoat. During the film, he checks the Tambour frequently on his way to the Musee du Orsay museum.
Inside, the timepiece is powered by LV’s exclusive new LFT023 calibre. The automatic movement runs at a frequency of 28,000 vph, allowing for a 50-hour power reserve. It includes a 22-karat rose gold micro-rotor, as well as a certified chronometer. And If you like to witness the horological magic for yourself, you can see its inner workings through the watch’s open caseback.
A stainless-steel bracelet completes the piece, featuring a three-blade folding buckle. Text reading “Louis Vuitton Paris, Fab. En Suisse” appears at 6 o’clock. Other subtle details: Louis Vuitton is spelled out around the bezel and the iconic “LV” logo appears atop the crown.
Cooper, who’s gaining buzz around his forthcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro, became Vuitton’s first dedicated brand ambassador for watches in September 2022. His appointment marked the watchmaker’s 20th anniversary, and was reportedly the first major initiative taken up by Jean Arnault, the brand’s director of watchmaking marketing and development. The 48-year-old actor is also seen wearing the new Tambour watch in series of moody portraits lensed by Mario Sorrenti for the new campaign.
The Tambour retails for $18,500 at Louis Vuitton.
