Brain-monitoring helmet is heading to space
STORY: This brain-monitoring helmet is going to space
to test the brain activity of astronauts
as they perform 20 minutes of tasks

The electroencephalogram (EEG)-enabled helmet
has 460 airbrushes connected to the scalp
designed to collect data from the subjects
The experiment is part of a SpaceX shuttle flight
to the International Space Station (ISS)
which is expected to depart for a 10-day mission on April 3
