Bren Esports continue to be the best Valorant team in the Philippines as they swept ArkAngel 3-0 in the finals of Mineski VxV, the Valorant First Strike event for the country, capping off a perfect run through the tournament.

Bren breezed through the group stage, topping Group B with a clean 3-0 record to become one of the eight teams to advance to the playoffs.

They made short work of AG.Nefarious in the quarterfinals, winning 13-6 in both Haven and Ascent to advance to the semifinals.

There, they faced Hashira, who they dispatched 13-4 in Haven and 13-8 in Bind to book their spot in the grand finals against ArkAngel.

Bren used a balanced lineup of Omen, Cypher, Sova, Phoenix, and Raze to dominate the first half of game one in Bind, 9-3, and start the series strong.

They swapped out Raze for Jett in game two in Haven, coming out of a close 7-5 first half to clean sweep after the side switch, 6-0, and earn match point.

Bren closed out ArkAngel in game three at Split by bringing back Raze and switching out Phoenix and Cypher for Breach and Killjoy.

Much like game one, Bren utterly dominated the first half, 10-2, then took care of business after the side switch to secure the 3-0 sweep.

With their win, Bren took home the grand prize of US$2,500 while ArkAngel settled for US$1,500.

As for the other First Strike events in Southeast Asia, Todak won First Strike MY/SG while Team nxl won First Strike Indonesia, beating out more established squads in Alter Ego and BOOM Esports.
