Sir Keir Starmer has called on Boris Johnson to deliver his promised “oven-ready” Brexit deal, after talks broke down earlier this week as both sides accused each other of refusing to budge.
The UK prime minister told businesses to prepare for a no-deal outcome on Friday.
“The prime minister said he had an oven-ready deal,” Labour’s leader said on Sunday. "He should get on and deliver that."
Meanwhile, Michael Gove has admitted a no-deal Brexit would not “be a picnic”, adding the UK was ready to leave the EU without a trade deal if necessary.
