Brighton vs Manchester City LIVE!

Pep Guardiola's deposed champions are back on the south coast tonight, six days on from their shock defeat to Southampton.

City have lost each of their last three matches away from home, though got back in a goalscoring mood with a 5-0 hammering of Newcastle in midweek.

They will hope to continue their 100% Premier League record against a Brighton team with only two top-flight wins to their name in 2020.

Subs: Stones, Zinchenko, Silva, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Carson, Foden, Doyle, Palmer

Brighton XI: Ryan, Montoya, Webster, Dunk, Bernardo, Bissouma, Propper, Gross, Mooy, Trossard, Connolly

Subs: Lamptey, Duffy, Stephens, Maupay, Mac Allister, Jahanbakhsh, Murray, Button, Burn

Prediction: Brighton 1-3 Manchester City

City looked irresistible in scoring a combined total of nine goals to vanquish champions Liverpool and Newcastle, but the defeat at Southampton in between was a reminder of the sort of inconsistency and defensive woes that have been a constant theme of their failed title defence.

Brighton gave a spirited display against Jurgen Klopp's Reds last time out and can play with more freedom having built a decent buffer to the bottom three, but they will likely need to catch the visitors on another notable off-day to have a realistic chance of victory.
