Brittnee Blair is dressed to the nines.
Dressed by Mani Jassal, the Calgary-native and "ET Canada" reporter turned heads in a black and white Dalmatian-print ensemble that featured an elegant floor-length skirt with a daring slit. She paired it with a matching crop top that had a square neckline and detachable sleeves.
For her beauty game, the host of W Network's "Movie Date" opted for a natural glam makeup look, letting her outfit take centre stage. Her hair was fashioned into a sleek and high-braided ponytail.
In her caption, she excitedly announced her VMAs debut and shared she'd be an interviewer at the awards show.
"Mama, I made it to the [MTV VMAs]," she quipped. "Tonight, I'm hitting the red carpet with [ET Canada] about to interview some your favs in music!"
Blair's post was quickly met with comments from fans swooning over her bold pink carpet look.
"Jaw on the floor! Stoked for you," someone wrote.
One person penned: "This whole look took my breath away!"
"So iconic, OMG," a fan commented.
"You look so incredibly gorgeous," shared another.
"Excuse you, serving glam on the carpet!" someone else added.
Speaking with Yahoo Canada in July, the plus-size model opened up about her experience in the broadcasting and fashion worlds.
"I am one of the few people that represent a bigger body and being a Black woman in fashion," she said. "People will try and change you into what they think perfection is, so the modelling world taught me to just stay true to who I am."
The self-love advocate doesn't let the industry's unrealistic beauty standards get to her, however. So long as her modelling has an empowering impact on other women, she plans to continue.
"As long as the fashion world will have me and I'm able to make change, I will continue to model," Blair said.
