BILLERICA, Mass. (AP) _ Bruker Corp. (BRKR) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $69 million.
The Billerica, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 43 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 46 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 37 cents per share.
The scientific equipment maker posted revenue of $470.3 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $466.7 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $153.6 million, or 95 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.61 billion.
Bruker expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.05 to $1.09 per share.
Bruker shares have increased 19 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $25.10, a rise of slightly more than 7 percent in the last 12 months.
