West Brom captain Chris Brunt insists that striker Romelu Lukaku will only get better with more regular playing time in the first team. Lukaku is set to stay with the Baggies for the remainder of the season after parent club Chelsea rejected the opportunity to recall him in the January transfer window. The 19-year-old revealed his interest in a return to the Hawthorns next season and has been staking his claim for a first-team berth in recent fixtures. He has bagged seven goals this term as Albion's top-scorer and Brunt believes Lukaku has all the makings of a prolific top-flight striker. "Romelu has been confirmed as staying here for the season which is great news. He's come into his own during the last month," he said. "The gaffer has been chopping and changing him and Shane (Long), and Rom has stepped up and grabbed a few goals for us. "He's been consistently hitting the net in the last few weeks, even when we've not played that well, and the more he plays, the better and better he'll get." "People forget Rom is only a young lad, he's still learning the game but he's a real handful," he added "He gets into good areas and hopefully he'll put more and more chances away as he gets more football."
