Bryson DeChambeau produced a stunning final round of 67 at Winged Foot to win the US Open and his maiden major by six shots.

DeChambeau trailed 21-year-old Matthew Wolff, who was attempting to become the youngest US Open winner since 1923, by two shots heading into the final round, but the ‘Mad Scientist’ quickly overhauled the deficit and was the only player to end the day under par on a gruelling golf course.

DeChambeau becomes the first player to win both the US Amateur Championship and US Open since Tiger Woods.
