KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 — Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin will be stepping down from his post as Felcra chairman by the end of the month.

Speaking to reporters at the lobby of Umno headquarters in PWTC, Bung gave a simple on liner regarding his position there: “I will submit my resignation letter by the end of this month.”

Yesterday, Felcra CEO Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope said the topic of Bung’s position never came up during his meeting with Council of Eminent Persons.

“We only discussed operational matters and how we can increase Felcra’s performance,” Zulkarnain said yesterday.

Bung’s resignation will quash rumours on whether or not he will continue as Felcra chairman.
