Bunny Succulents Are the Adorable Plants That Need to Hop Into Your Home
You better get to planting immediately, so you’re guaranteed a pot full of bunny-looking succulents by Easter! Bunny rabbit succulents are the adorable plants that will pop up for a fun spring surprise.
Dubbed the bunny succulent due to its ear-like appearance, the scientific name is Monilaria moniliforme. It’s described as a sparsely branched shrub that grows up to 6 inches tall. When they first sprout, the succulents look like tiny, fuzzy bunny ears. As they grow, however, the base stays about the same size, and the ears grow, so you go from a mini bunny to these long ears.
Even if you don’t have a green thumb, you can grow your own little bunny succulents in a pot. According to World of Succulents (see previous link), this succulent needs free-draining soil, plenty of sun and ventilation, and regular light watering. Easy enough, right? Now all you need are the seeds, which are available from Etsy shop Walawala Studio. You can get 10 seeds for $3.99, and the order is a best-seller.

“These sprouted within a week. A full month later and they are the cutest little succulents!” one buyer wrote. “Seeds arrived quickly and securely and I can’t wait to start the process of growing lovely succulents,” wrote another.
Now that winter is on its way out and warmer weather is coming, fresh flowers and plants will begin popping up in gardens and pots. Let’s just say that these bunny succulents are some of the cutest you can grow!
