JOHOR BARU: A 49-year old man will be hauled to court tomorrow to face charges of allegedly raping his two teenage daughters over the last several years.

It is learnt that the man, who works as a burger seller, would force his two daughters, aged 14 and 19, to have sex with him at their home in Skudai whenever his wife, the mother of the two sisters, went to work.

A police source said the man's heinous act was finally discovered when one of the girls confessed to a relative about her father's behaviour.

This prompted the relative to inform the girls' mother.

Despite being heartbroken by her husband's betrayal, the mother on Sept 9 lodged a police report on at the Johor Baru North police headquarters in order to protect her daughters.

The man was arrested on the same day.

He has been in police custody over the last three days following a remand order.

Johor Baru North police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Taib Ahmad confirmed the suspect's arrest. The man is expected to be brought to the Johor Baru Sessions Court tomorrow morning to be charged.
