MANILA — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has found violations by Leomarick bus that fell into a ravine in Carranglan, Nueva Ecija on April 18 where over 30 people died.
According to the LTFRB, it appears in the investigation of Isuzu Philippines that the bus has been in use for 33 years.
Contrary to what was stated on the document submitted by the bus company that it is a 2006 model.
Based on LTFRB’s directive, passenger buses that are 15 years old and above are strictly prohibited from traveling. — UNTV News & Rescue
