The design of a whimsical helmet-wearing rabbit character was solely designed and drawn by Fann Wong, and she also developed the recipes for the signature tarts Signature Valrhona Chocolate Tart (700g) and Musang King Gula Melaka Tart (750g). She will also be working with a local baker to scale up production.

Here's a closer look at the two tarts that will be launched initially.

The enticing chocolate cremeux is made with Valrhona 70% dark chocolate, which lends a richness and intense flavour without the cloying sweetness. Beneath the cremeux is a layer of delicate almond sponge, held together by the chocolate sable base. For a touch of luxury, edible gold dust is sprinkled atop the tart.

Made with pure Musang King pulp and homemade gula melaka sauce set in a butter sable and finished off with a snowing of desiccated coconut adds a subtle fragrance. All the ingredients are set in a gorgeous butter sable.

Both tarts measure 7-inches, which can be cut into six standard or eight smaller slices.

Tarts will be available for sale from 13th October at 9.29am on fanntasybakes.com.sg. For keen-eyed punters, the timing signifies Fann and Christopher’s wedding date, which falls on 29 September.
