Camilla Parker Bowles ‘once called Princess Diana a mad cow’, according to new book
Camilla Parker Bowles once branded Princess Diana a ‘mad cow’ in private, according to an explosive new book.
Author Tom Bower claims in his new book that both Camilla and Prince Charles tried to paint the Princess of Wales as a ‘scheming hysteric’ in an attempt to get public approval for their relationship.
The Duchess of Cornwall allegedly stated that Diana had no right to complain about her affair with Charles because the Princess was ‘working her way through the Life Guards’.
Despite the alleged comments made by Camilla, Bower claims in his book Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles, that Diana could give as good as she got when it came to scathing remarks.
Mr Bower believes his book, unsurprisingly, will be hated by Prince Charles.
He told LBC: ‘He hates criticism. He’ll hate this book.

‘He’s a person who is rather sad. His marriage, his relationship with his mother and father which isn’t very good.’
Mr Bower added: ‘He wants to have a legacy, he wants there to be an era of Charles.’
