Candace Cameron Bure calls out Kristen Bell on Instagram over prayer

Candace Cameron Bure is throwing some shade at Kristen Bell.

Bell was one of the many celebrities to praise Dick’s Sporting Goods for announcing they will no longer sell assault-style rifles. The Frozen star posted the company’s statement on Instagram, noting the move is an “example of something better than thoughts and prayers.” That line in particular irked the former View co-host.

Bure commented, “How about instead of diminishing prayers (which are powerful), you re-caption ‘in addition to prayers’ here is something really great….”

So far, it doesn’t appear that Bell has replied, but there is a full-on debate happening in her comments section.

Bure’s comment has 8,228 likes and more than 2,400 replies. Naturally, her message had a mixed reaction amongst Bell’s followers, with some people slamming and some praising the Fuller House star for weighing in.

For anyone who follows Bure, her comment shouldn’t come as a big surprise, as she regularly posts about her faith.

Will Kristen Bell slide into her comments section and respond anytime soon? We doubt it.
