Alwar (Rajasthan), Sep 27 (ANI): Candidates writing REET Exam 2021 protested on September 26 after the exam began late at Smt Kamla Devi Mahavidyalaya in Alwar district. According to Nannumal Pahadiya, Collector of Alwar, the Exam began 15 minutes late. Candidates tried matching code number of question paper and OMR sheets, they were different as per Board's system. Some candidates, who came unprepared, spread rumours of paper leak. They boycotted the exam and instigated others. “Paper was late due to farmers’ protest in Shahjahanpur. Candidates also spread paper leak rumours for second sitting. As soon as paper came, I appealed to the candidates to check it and sit for the exam in the second sitting. Action will be taken against rumour-mongers,” said the Collector.
