11 Mar – TVB actress Candy Chang has recently been cleared of drug possession charge.
Asianpopnews website reported that the van driver – who was arrested for possession of marijuana, has revealed that the actress had no involvement whatsoever in the case. The statement was also supported by forensic analysis that shows the absence of Candy's fingerprints on the packets of marijuana.
Thus, on 7 March, "The Hippocratic Crush" actress was cleared of her earlier drug charges. While leaving the police station, the relieved actress enthused, "It's all over! Thank you for your concern."
In November last year, Candy Chang hitched a ride home with an acquaintance of a friend, but was halted by a road block. During police inspection, several packets of marijuana were found in the van and led to the arrests of both Candy and the driver.
The former 2010 Miss Chinese International runner-up then had to participate in a few investigations, and was consequently dropped from "The Hippocratic Crush II" cast list.
However, with her innocence recently revealed, the 23-year-old is expected to join the drama and resume her role as one of the original cast members.
