Car rams into Kota Damansara bus stop, injuring eight

PETALING JAYA: Eight men were injured when a Proton Satria skidded and crashed into a bus shelter at Jalan 5/1 Sepah Puteri Seksyen 5, Kota Damansara here at 8.45am this morning.

Seven of the injured were Bangladesh citizens.

It is learnt that the accident occurred when the Satria, which was driven by a local man, swerved to avoid crashing into a bus which was pulling to a stop at the bus shelter.

“The car then rammed into the men waiting at the bus stop.

“All the injured, including the car driver, were sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment,” said Petaling Jaya district chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din.
