Cardinals rule out Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins vs. 49ers
The Arizona Cardinals offense won't be at its best against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The division leaders ruled out quarterback Kyler Murray and No. 1 wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins ahead of kickoff in the NFC West clash.

Murray suffered an ankle injury late in last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Hopkins played through a lingering hamstring injury in the same game that continues to hobble him. Both were considered game-time decisions leading up to the Sunday afternoon kickoff.
Colt McCoy will get the start in Murray's place while a receiving corps already missing A.J. Green (reserve/COVID-19 list) will depend more on Christian Kirk and Rondale Moore. The Cardinals will look to overcome the injuries to avoid a second straight loss after a 7-0 start. They enter Sunday's game tied with the 7-1 Los Angeles Rams atop the NFC West. The Rams will play the Tennessee Titans Sunday night.
The 3-4 49ers will look to avoid falling further behind in the NFC playoff race.
