Bed-in-a-box brand Casper is turning over a new leaf this spring. The 6-year-old startup just launched an all-new lineup of eight foam and hybrid mattresses, and this generation of products is its most meticulously designed yet.

Backed by millions of data points and years of testing from the brand's San Francisco-based research and development facility, Casper Labs, this new collection has taken all that the brand has learned about its customers’ needs. The redesigned sleep products are no longer one-size-fits-all, but are better suited to a wider segment of the population. They replace Casper's previous lineup of five hybrid and foam mattresses.

This is the new collection of Casper mattresses:

  • The Original: the most balanced support, available in both a foam and a hybrid construction

  • The Nova: the most plush model, available in both foam and hybrid

  • The Wave: the most supportive model, available in both foam and hybrid

  • The Element: the best value (all models are under $1,000), available only in a foam construction

  • The Snug: the most convenient, as it is delivered in a mini box, available only in foam and in select retail locations

The biggest change is that the Original, Nova, and Wave all feature different levels of Casper's proprietary Zoned Support, which are areas of the mattress that are contoured for pressure relief and spinal alignment. Determining whether a foam or a hybrid version of these mattresses is better for you typically comes down to whether you want memory foam’s body-hugging sink and limited motion transfer or you'd prefer a hybrid mattress's springy support. The Zoned Support for both the foam and hybrid construction will ensure that the pressure on your shoulders and hips is more forgiving than the pressure by your feet and midsection.

What's also now consistent across all eight of Casper's new mattress models is that they contain a top layer of foam called AirScape — this foam is perforated for airflow so that they all sleep a little cooler. They all also have soft new cover designs that are made from recycled materials.

The entire mattress collection is available in six standard sizes with Casper's 100-night trial and a 10-year limited warranty, so you won't lose any sleep over finding the perfect mattress for your needs.
