Catherine Zeta-Jones may be 48 but the actress didn’t let that stop her with her revealing outfit choice in Cannes on Monday night.
Attending the MIPCOM gala, the star was seen on the red carpet in a semi-sheer Zuhair Murad gown. Complete with sequins and other embellishments, the dress featured a seriously plunging neckline as well as several see-through sections which summoned the age-old question: how do celebrities wear underwear?
(Let’s be honest, they probably don’t.)
Catherine’s platform heels were barely visible under the glamorous gown which comes from the designer’s Resort 2018 collection. Her hair was styled in a sophisticated faux bob, with simple diamond earrings finishing off the true Hollywood look.
Earlier in the day, Catherine stunned once again at a photocall for new film, ‘Cocaine Godmother’. Donning a one-shouldered black dress by Cushnie et Ochs, she paired the frilly fitted look with subtly patterned heels.
On the red carpet, the Oscar winner was asked whether she had ever been targeted by Harvey Weinstein. “No – and I’m blessed because it happens to so many women all the time,” she told the Hollywood Reporter.
“I hope that the fall from grace that this man has had — you’re never too big to fail — is a lesson to all those who have questioned if this behaviour is acceptable. I think the attention is due and I really believe that if this is not the tipping point, it’s at least some kind of turning point.”
“That big old dinosaur of people who think a man is able to get away with that behaviour and has been getting away with it for years, is extinct as of now.”
