Catriona seeks 10 million pesos in damages over fake topless photo

5 Aug – Catriona Gray is seeking for P10 million in damages against a local tabloid for allegations that she has taken topless photos in the past.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the former Miss Universe recently claimed that the tabloid, Bulgar, caused immeasurable damage to her reputation by publishing a fabricated story about her with an alleged nude photo, and maliciously made money over the issue of her breakup with ex-boyfriend and model Clint Bondad.

It is noted that Bondad made the news recently after making cryptic posts on social media that many speculated had something to do with Gray.

Gray, who previously filed a report about the case at the National Bureau of Investigation, also listed several names involved in the Bulgar lawsuit, including its editor Janice Navida and writer Melba Llanera.

In addition to the amount of settlement, the beauty queen is also demanding a public apology from the defendants.
