Celebrities mourn Jiang Han's passing

13 Dec – Celebrities recently took to social media to express sadness over the loss of actor Jiang Han, who passed away recently.

As reported on Mingpao, stars like Louis Koo, Lee San-san, and Jessica Hsuan recently shared their thoughts about the actor, who worked in more than 200 films and dramas including TVB's "Burning Flame" and "Healing Hands".

Jessica, who posted a message about Jiang's passing, wrote, "Have a good journey, our dearest Jiang Han. We will always miss you."

Louis, who worked with Jiang in various dramas including "Burning Flame", where they played father and son, shared that the actor was an amazing senior and had a great sense of humour.

"I will always remember the wonderful memory we shared," he said.

As for Lee San-san, the actress posted on Weibo, "Missing you forever, Jiang Han."

In a telephone interview, the actress shared that the two of them have previously worked together in the past, and that she will always remember how friendly and humorous Jiang was.

"He would always make sure that everyone is comfortable. If you were having some difficulties during the shoot, he would take some time to help you solve the issue," she said.

Bowie Wu, who had known Jiang for more than 40 years, said that they rarely worked together.

"When I first joined TVB, I would talk to him frequently. But in the past ten years, we had no cooperation. I heard he was not in good health, and had retired to stay home and recuperate. But I didn't know that he was ill," he admitted.

Steve Ma, who also worked with Jiang in the past, praised the latter for being a professional actor.

"He is worth learning from," he said.

Jiang was 78.
