What's better than watching ordinary people watch telly? Why, watching celebrities watch telly, of course! Which is just as well, because Celebrity Gogglebox is around the corner.

Ahead of its latest all-star series – which has previously featured the likes of Dyers Danny and Dani, Niall Horan, and Shaun Ryder – Channel 4 has confirmed its new line-up for the upcoming seven-part series.

Celebrity Gogglebox will be kicking off on Friday, June 5, giving viewers a chance to peek inside the living rooms of the rich and famous, and find out what they really think of what's on TV.

Back on the sofa once more will be Denise van Outen and her partner Eddie, Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, and Loose Women's Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash.

As well as a few returning faces, Celebrity Gogglebox has made some room on the sofa for I'm a Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra, Zoe Ball and her son Woody, Olympian Nicola Adams and her partner Ella, and the voice and face of Love Island (and real-life couple) Iain Stirling and Laura Whitmore.

In regular Gogglebox news, the series' boss has explained why fan favourites Mary and Marina have not been seen in recent episodes.

As the show continues amid lockdown and social-distancing guidelines, Gogglebox took the decision to "stop filming" with Mary and Marina as they are both in their 90s and live in a care home.

"We didn't want them put at any risk," creator Tania Alexander reassured viewers. "The ladies are safe and well looked-after, but often tell us they dearly miss the crews and the fun they have during filming each week."

Gogglebox airs on Channel 4.
